Canobie Lake Park with Caren Chevalier
Thrill rides for kids! Either three elementary children (ages 6-11) or two pre-primary children (ages 3-5) will accompany MHMS Director Caren Chevalier to Canobie Lake Park, the family amusement park in Salem, NH. She will provide transportation, lunch, snacks, and drinks.
Must be scheduled in advance on a mutually agreeable date and used before end of summer 2013.

Nature Day-Trip at the Trailside Museum with Patti
Two pre-primary students will learn about nature with Patti Ryan at the Blue Hills Trailside Museum. The group will meet for either a "nature tales" program at 10:30 a.m. or a live animal presentation at 1:30 p.m. They will tour the museum, take a hike (tailored to little hikers' abilities), search for insects, do nature crafts, have lunch or snacks (depending on start time), play games, and look for birds. The children will bring home a bug collection kit, book, gift shop treat, and food. Capping it off: Patti will provide a photo book of the day's adventures!
Restricted to MHMS preprimary children on a mutually agreed date.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Art Museum Trip with Lori
Lori Jarzyniecki will take your child and a friend (any age) to Boston's Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum for the day. The museum offers visitors the visual splendor of the courtyard garden and surrounding galleries -- a feast for the senses. The trip includes lunch.

Homemade Cookies from Irina
Be surprised throughout the year with six batches of homemade cookies.  Each batch will contain approximately two dozen cookies.  You will receive a variety of cookies throughout the year, ranging from American classics like the Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal Raisin to some traditional European cookies like Rugelach and Wedding Bells.  All cookies will be made from scratch.  Please notify Irina of any allergies.  You can choose to have your cookies delivered (to school) once a month or a mutually agreed upon schedule.

Indoor Rock Climbing and Challenge Course with Ms. DiTullio and Ms. Alison
Two elementary kids will join Ms. DiTullio and Ms. Alison for a morning of fun at Metro Rock in Everett. Spend time on the rock walls and the challenge course and then relax with lunch at a restaurant of your choice!

Learn to Cook Indian Style with Preetha
Two MHMS pre-primary students will get to spend a spicy fun- filled afternoon in Preetha's home learning to mix up Masalas and traditional spices to make a few tasty Indian delicacies from snacks to main dishes. It will be hands-on experience for the children who thereafter get to taste their own dishes for dinner. Each child can practice his/her newly acquired cooking skills at home with a $20 gift certificate to authentic Indian fare from the South Shore India Market.  Photos and dinner for the day will be provided. Date: any pre planned weekend before the end of the school year.

Aquarium Trip with Laura and Monica
Two MHMS pre-primary children will join Laura and Monica on a trip to the New England Aquarium for a fun day of visiting with the sea animals. Snacks, lunch and photos provided.
