About Meeting House Montessori School
Meeting House Montessori School (MHMS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit preschool and elementary school located in Braintree, Massachusetts. Our mission is to nurture children’s innate love of learning and prepare them to succeed in all aspects of life — both academically and socially.

At MHMS, we provide a nurturing, creative, and diverse educational environment that empowers students to become active, aware members of our South Shore and greater Boston communities. Our students are exposed to different cultures and ideas, and we encourage them to participate in service projects through organizations such as Cradles to Crayons, Oxfam, and Braintree Food Pantry.

As we help our children grow into dependable, caring community members, we also depend on the support of our community. We hope you will show your support by registering for our first annual Family Fun Run, sponsoring our event, and/or donating an item or service to our event. All proceeds are used to fulfill the long-term and short-term needs of the school, including financial aid.

A Special Invitation: We share our school campus with the students at St. Coletta Day School.  We collaborate with our friends there for art projects, special events and other programs where Montessori kids see that all children have shared interests and concerns no matter what their physical or cognitive abilities may be.  And the St. Coletta's kids show us that friends come in all shapes and sizes.  We invite our special friends to join us on race day for the St Coletta Day School 100 Yard Dash, proudly sponsored in its entirety by New England Appliance.
